Tinted Lipstick Balm

IRON OXIDE
The rich red tint of our lipstick-balm comes from iron oxide—a naturally occurring, non-toxic mineral found in the earth. In fact, there are places on our planet with such high concentrations of iron oxide that waterfalls literally run red (yes, it looks like a waterfall of blood—look it up, it’s incredible). Iron oxides are nothing new. They’ve been used for centuries in sun protection because, when properly formulated, they can be made into a spreadable paste that sits on the skin, creating a physical barrier between you and the sun. That same mineral just happens to create the most beautifully bold, naturally “sexy” shade for lips. Nature knew what it was doing.


COCOA BUTTER is full of healthy fats that help seal in moisture, so your lips don’t get dry or cracked. It also has natural antioxidants (like vitamin E) that help protect your lips and help them heal faster. Because it’s a natural softener, cocoa butter makes lips feel smooth, comfy, and flexible instead of tight or flaky. it also smells like chocolate!


OLIVE BUTTER is a crazy soft and silky butter. It's full of healthy fats that keep lips soft and protected by strengthening their natural sheild. It's packed with fatty acids and squalene that deeply moisturize and protect the lips. Rich in antioxidants, it helps repair damage skin and defend against dryness.


CASTOR OIL helps pull moisture into your lips and keep it there, so they stay hydrated longer. It also helps calm irritation and supports healing when lips are dry or cracked. On top of that, it creates a soft protective layer that keeps lips smooth and comfortable all day.


CAMELLIA TEA SEED OIL is full of good fats and vitamin E that soak into the top layer of your lips to help nourish them and make them soft and stretchy. Its antioxidants help protect lips from damage caused by things like dry air and pollution. Because it’s lightweight and not greasy, it helps repair and heal dry or damaged lips while keeping moisture locked in so they stay smooth and healthy.

The balm feels silky smooth when you spread it over your lips, making lips feel sexy and moisturized! Once the oils have been absorbed, the color from the color will stay present on the lips for several hours.

This lip balm smells like a chocolate mint cookie! The unrefined cocoa butter smells and tastes like chocolate (because it is) while the vanilla bean oil and peppermint add to the desert-like sweetness.

I know it's hard to believe that this color looks good everyone, but it really does. Because the color is derived from nature, it enhances the color of lips in a very natural looking way. The color looks a bit different on each person, depending on the shade of your lips. If you use a small amount of balm the color will be more subtle, or if you want a more prominent color, you can just add more balm and the color will be darker.
