This complex fragrance is infused with essential oils that bugs don't like while still feeling elegant and alluring. Inspired by the recipe of Madagascar locals whom we’ve met by the Lokobe Nature Reserve who frolic in and out of the bug-dense jungles using their plant infused concoctions for protection without a single mosquito daring to touch them.
The aroma is bright and grounding all at once — a mix of citrusy lemongrass, smooth cedarwood, and soft floral geranium. It smells fresh and woodsy. It starts bright and citrusy with lemongrass, then opens up into thyme, geranium, and a touch of eucalyptus. As it settles, the deeper notes come through — cedarwood, a hint of tobacco, and soft, smoky wood. The scent feels grounding and clear, like fresh air after a summer storm — and yes, it helps keep the bugs away, too.
Use this spray as you would use any bug repellent. If you enjoy the scent, feel free to use it as a perfume or room & linen freshener as well!
Sexy humans.
Cedarwood essential oil has a warm, dry, woody aroma with earthy and slightly sweet undertones, reminiscent of fresh-cut wood and resin, making it both grounding and pleasant. It works as a natural bug repellent because it contains compounds like cedrol and cedrene that disrupt insects’ scent receptors and nervous systems, masking human odors that attract pests and discouraging mosquitoes, moths, ticks, and ants from landing or lingering, all while remaining gentle and long-lasting for human use.
Lemongrass essential oil has a bright, fresh, citrusy aroma with clean, grassy undertones that feels energizing and crisp. It works as an effective natural bug repellent because it is rich in compounds like citral and geraniol, which disrupt insects’ sensory receptors, mask human scent, and repel mosquitoes, flies, and other pests by making the environment unappealing for them to approach or remain.
Geranium essential oil has a soft, rosy, floral aroma with fresh green and slightly citrusy notes, creating a balanced scent that is both uplifting and calming. It works as a natural bug repellent due to its high content of compounds like geraniol and citronellol, which confuse insects’ scent receptors and mask human odors, helping repel mosquitoes, flies, and other biting insects while remaining gentle and pleasant for skin use.
Eucalyptus essential oil has a cool, clean, camphorous aroma with fresh, slightly medicinal notes that feel cooling and invigorating. It works as a natural bug repellent because compounds like eucalyptol (1,8-cineole) interfere with insects’ scent detection and nervous systems, masking human odors and effectively repelling mosquitoes, flies, and other pests while remaining refreshing and energizing for humans.
Alcohol, Cymbopogon citratus (Lemongrass) Oil, Cedrus atlantica (Cedarwood) Wood Oil, Cymbopogon nardus (Citronella) Oil, Thymus vulgaris (Thyme) Oil, Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus) Leaf Oil.
HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE...
Mosquito meal no more
Works better than any other bug repellent I've ever tried! And the scent is citrusy and relaxing - great perfume alternative for hot summer nights.
- Tanja★ ★ ★ ★ ★It really works!
The first mosquito repellent i feel safe to spray on in the apartment to repel the rogue mosquitoes that enter. It feels healthy and smells great!
- Nuša★ ★ ★ ★ ★The best bug spray there is
Smells so good I secretly use it as a perfume some days. Not oily or sticky so you can also spray it on textiles like your clothes and linen to keep the motherf*****s away. I have tried this on several continents and I can guarantee it works against Northern European mosquitos as well as Caribbean ones. Plus: It's unimaginably ample, I went to a workshop where the whole group of 15 people was using the spray for a whole week, but I got home with more than half a bottle still left. Magical.

I love the spray, it has taken me a long time to find one that 1. actually works and repels bugs, 2. has ingredients I understand, and last but not least, 3. doesn't smell awful. In fact, it smells kind of nice. Perfect for summer :)

Water in creams is a scam. Sorry.
Although water-based creams may feel light and refreshing on the skin momentarily, there are a few ingredients in every water-based cream that need to be there for the cream to stay together and not go bad, but are actually really harmful for the skin.
No preservatives, emulsifiers or chemicals
Simple, potent, safe & 100% natural ingredients
Pure essential oils that heal & smell amazing

The bug spray really works for me (I use it mostly when working in the garden in the evening) and it smells nice, not like other bug sprays that actually stink. Unfortunately, I took it with me to the music festival and they took it from me on the entrance because it's in a glass container :D don't do the same mistake as I did!
My first ever Liturgy self-love haul 💫 Picked up the beautifully wrapped package in person and was already swooning over the scents on the way home.
✨ Sexy Bug Spray — haven’t tested it in action yet, but the scent? Unreal. Nothing like any other repellent I’ve tried.
🌵 Prickly Pear & Vanilla Oil — love at first sniff! My skin approves of both the dreamy scent and the silky-soft finish.
☁️ Summer Skin Fluff has the most gorgeous texture — curious to see how it holds up in the summer heat (stay tuned).
💙 Bonus mini: Jasmin & Blue Tansy fragrance = heavenly.
In short: pure joy, dreamy scents… and I’ll definitely be back for more! ✨💛 Ursh

I like the natural ingredients and the effect of the bug spray. The spray nozzle broke after the first use, but I replaced it and now it works.
